Amigo Impex has operated as a Monel 400 bar manufacturer, supplier and stockist in Mumbai, India, since 2013, supporting PAN India despatch and exports through our facility. Rolled and drawn bar is certified to ASTM B164 / ASME SB-164 under UNS N04400, and forged sections follow ASTM B564. The grade is a nickel-copper alloy. A minimum of 63.0% nickel combined with 28.0-34.0% copper keeps machined surfaces intact in flowing seawater, hydrofluoric acid and caustic media. Annealed bar meets a 480 MPa minimum tensile strength; hot-worked stock starts at 552 MPa. European drawings name the same material W.Nr. 2.4360 or NiCu30Fe.
Round bars span 3 mm to 300 mm in diameter in lengths up to 6,000 mm and are joined by hex, square, flat, rectangular, bright and forged profiles; cutting, machining and threading run in-house. Pump shafts, valve stems, fasteners and downhole tooling turned from this stock serve marine, oil and gas, chemical processing and aerospace plants. Exports reach the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia, quoted per kilogram in INR or USD. Each order is dispatched with its mill test certificate, and we hold certifications like AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Over 91% of UNS N04400 bar by weight is nickel and copper. ASTM B164 caps the five remaining elements at the limits below, and PMI testing verifies them on request.

ASTM B164 sets separate acceptance minimums for Alloy 400 bar in each supply condition. Annealed bar carries the highest elongation, hot-finished stock lifts the yield floor, and cold-drawn stress-relieved bar reaches the highest strength with reduced ductility.

UNS N04400 round bar spans 3 mm to 300 mm in diameter from our stockist's inventory. Rolling covers sizes up to approximately 265 mm; larger sections are forged against order and are cut to length in-house.

PMI, hardness and ultrasonic testing are added where the purchase order specifies them.

Monel 400 round bar is stocked from 3 mm to approximately 265 mm; larger diameters up to 300 mm are forged against order. Urgent despatches leave within 1 to 2 days, and made-to-order sizes take around 30 days.
Alloy 400 rod, UNS N04400 and Monel 400 bar describe one nickel-copper material: Monel 400 is the trade name, Alloy 400 the generic term and N04400 the unified number. Purchase orders sometimes shorten it to M400.
A density of 8.80 to 8.84 g/cm³ applies to Monel 400 bar; it's roughly 69 kg per metre at 100 mm diameter.
Monel-400 bar stock is gummy and tears in the annealed condition; cold-drawn or cold-drawn stress-relieved bar gives the best machinability and finish. It work-hardens under the tool, so rigid setups, sharp positive-rake tooling, low to moderate speeds and a steady feed keep the cut beneath the hardened skin.

Monel 400 bar is designated 2.4360 / NiCu30Fe in Europe under DIN 17752, and Japan lists it as NW4400 in JIS. The UK equivalent is NA13 to BS 3076; China uses NCu30.
