Amigo Impex is an Incoloy 800 Bars & Rods manufacturer and supplier operating from Mumbai, India, since 2013. We produce and export bars such as Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800) produced to ASTM B408 / ASME SB-408. Round incoloy 800 bar is held from 3 mm to 800 mm in diameter in lengths of 0.5 m to 6.0 m, and hex, square, flat and rectangular sections are cut, machined and threaded at our own works.
The Alloy 800's performance comes from its nickel-iron-chromium chemistry. It provides resistance to oxidation and carburisation at elevated temperatures, while also offering resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking in suitable service environments. Bar stock is machined into shafts, fasteners, furnace fixtures and heat exchanger internals. Annealed N08800 sections deliver 515 MPa minimum tensile strength with 205 MPa minimum yield.
As an incoloy 800 bar supplier, we maintain ready inventory in Mumbai and serve domestic and international buyers from our stock. Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing are carried out in-house at our facility, which is certified under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems, with PED and AS 9120B approvals in place. Every order leaves with an EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 mill test certificate.
Incoloy 800 Bars & Rods leave our works against the supply range below, covering grade, section, tolerance and finish under ASTM B408 / ASME SB-408.
ASTM B408 governs nickel-iron-chromium alloy rod and bar, and ASME SB-408 adopts the same requirements for boiler and pressure vessel work. Both cover every grade we supply.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM B408 | Specification for nickel-iron-chromium alloy rod and bar |
| ASME SB-408 | ASME adoption of B408 with identical requirements |
Balance defines this composition: nickel and chromium on an iron base, with carbon, aluminium and titanium limits separating the three UNS N08800 series grades.
| Element | Incoloy 800 (N08800) |
|---|---|
| Carbon (C) | 0.10 max |
| Manganese (Mn) | 1.50 max |
| Sulphur (S) | 0.015 max |
| Silicon (Si) | 1.00 max |
| Copper (Cu) | 0.75 max |
| Nickel (Ni) | 30.0–35.0 |
| Chromium (Cr) | 19.0–23.0 |
| Aluminium (Al) | 0.15–0.60 |
| Titanium (Ti) | 0.15–0.60 |
| Al + Ti combined | No combined limit |
| Iron (Fe) | 39.5 min |
Minimum room-temperature values for ASME SB-408 Incoloy 800 are per heat treatment, so the condition column matters as much as the figures.
| Property | Requirement (Annealed Condition) |
|---|---|
| Tensile Strength (Min) | 515 MPa (75 ksi) |
| Yield Strength (0.2% Offset, Min) | 205 MPa (30 ksi) |
| Elongation (Min) | 30% |

Bars travel in bundles or wooden crates, each piece marked with grade, size, specification and heat number so traceability survives transit. Urgent orders do not wait: ready stock leaves within 1–2 days, and domestic despatches reach every Indian state. Export consignments move to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia, packed by an Incoloy 800 Bars & Rods exporter to sea-freight standard.
Mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 accompany each consignment, drawn from the original mill or from our own in-house testing. Third-party inspection is supported on request. Amigo Impex operates under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems and holds PED and AS 9120B approvals.
Incoloy 800 bars and rods are priced at approximately ₹1,200–₹3,000 per kg in India and $17–$30 per kg internationally. Rates vary with grade, section size, finish, tolerance, quantity, and weekly nickel-market movements.

Every Incoloy 800 bar and rod we manufacture and supply conforms to ASTM B408 and its ASME adoption, SB-408.
Incoloy 800 bar carries 0.10% maximum carbon for general corrosion and oxidation service, while 800H restricts carbon to 0.05–0.10% for better creep strength. The 800HT bar adds a combined aluminium plus titanium control of 0.85–1.20% for the highest sustained operating temperatures.
Incoloy 800 round bar is available from 3 mm to 800 mm in diameter in standard lengths of 0.5 m to 6.0 m, with custom cutting on request.
Incoloy 800 bars are supplied to tolerance classes H8 to H13 and K9 to K12. Tighter limits can be agreed on request.
Incoloy 800 bar can work-harden during machining, so rigid setups, sharp carbide tooling and controlled positive feeds are recommended for clean cutting.
Incoloy 800 bright bar is supplied in bright polished, peeled, pickled and centreless ground finishes. Rough turned and black conditions suit machining-allowance work.
Yes. Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 refer to the same UNS N08800 nickel-iron-chromium alloy, so the two names describe an identical round bar; it's a naming difference, not a metallurgical one.
The price of Incoloy 800 round bar is quoted per kg and moves with grade, diameter, finish, tolerance and order quantity. Rates are confirmed at quotation because base metal costs do not stand still.
Yes, every despatch of Incoloy 800 bars carries an EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection is arranged whenever it is called for.
