ASTM B805 and ASTM B637 both cover UNS N09925 bar. B805 lists it as conditions N09925B (cold worked + aged) and N09925C (hot worked + aged); B637 lists the same properties as N09925F and N09925G, with a 38 HRC maximum hardness. Wellhead and downhole parts are often ordered to API 6A CRA as well.

Nickel between 42.0 and 46.0% pairs with 19.5-22.5% chromium in nickel alloy 925 bar. Copper at 1.5-3.0% supports service in reducing sour media, and titanium and aluminium make the grade age-hardenable.

The heat-treat condition determines the numbers for Alloy 925 bar. The solution-annealed condition provides lower strength for machining, while ageing substantially increases yield strength. Depending on the working route (cold-worked vs. hot-worked), the aged bar has a minimum yield strength of 724 to 758 MPa.

Yes. The material is identical, though Inconel 925 is a misnomer: Incoloy and Inconel are separate trademarked families, and this bar is correctly designated Incoloy 925, UNS N09925.
Age-hardening capability separates the two. Incoloy 925 bar reaches a minimum aged tensile strength of 965 MPa; annealed 825 bar carries similar corrosion resistance at far lower strength.

Yes. Aged Incoloy 925 bar is normally supplied to a Charpy V-notch requirement of 47 J average with 43 J minimum single value at −60 °C, tested where the purchase specification (typically API 6A CRA) calls for it, which is why it is used for subsea hardware in cold service.
