The Nitronic 50 and XM 19 Flanges provide outstanding resistance in any media. The 1950 F or 1066 C annealed conditions are good for these flanges as they provide high strength level and adequate corrosion resistance. However, they are good for working in welded condition or annealed condition at the 2050 F or 1121C in very corrosive media. These are high strength flanges. They also provide resistance to intergranular corrosion or attack. Therefore, the flanges are sensitized for one hour at 1250 F or 675 C. annealing them at 1066 C or 1950 F offers good intergranular corrosion resistance in most of the applications.
They also resist stress corrosion cracking under certain conditions such as hot chloride environments. In addition to this, stress cracking under sulfide conditions is resisted by the Nitronic 50 and XM 19 Flanges. We perform testing of these flanges under the expert’s supervision. The tests we do are hardness, chemical analysis, impact resistance test, intergranular corrosion test, positive material identification test, and more.
