Super duplex stainless steel flanges combine high strength with strong resistance to chloride corrosion. Their ferrite-austenite microstructure provides a balance of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Chromium content is typically around 25%, while molybdenum and nitrogen further improve resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking. This makes super duplex flanges suitable for seawater, offshore, desalination, chemical processing and other demanding environments.
Sizes range from NPS 1/2" to 24" under ASME B16.5 and from NPS 26" to 60" under ASME B16.47. Class 150 through 2500 ratings are available within the applicable dimensional standards, with five facing options and eleven flange patterns supplied. Weld neck, blind and slip-on flanges account for many regular requirements.
Mumbai stock holds approximately 60 to 70 tonnes of ready material. Each order is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, while 3.2 certification is arranged when required. Our company holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. Supply covers pan-India, with export shipments to the USA, Gulf, European and Asian markets.

Our main grades for super duplex flanges are S32750 and S32760. Both are high-alloy duplex stainless steels designed for demanding chloride and seawater environments.
S32750 is one of the most widely specified 25Cr super duplex grades. It combines high mechanical strength with strong resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is commonly selected for offshore, seawater, chemical and desalination applications.
S32760 provides high strength and corrosion resistance for severe chloride environments. Its alloying additions include chromium, molybdenum, nitrogen, copper and tungsten, making it suitable for seawater systems, offshore equipment and chemical processing.
The applicable dimensional standard depends on the nominal pipe size. Standard sizes within ASME B16.5 and B16.47 are supplied, while special dimensions can be produced or machined against an approved drawing.

The pressure rating depends on the flange class, material group, size and service temperature. ASME B16.5 and B16.47 define the applicable pressure-temperature ratings for their respective size ranges.
Class 2500 is limited to NPS 12 under ASME B16.5. Above NPS 24, ASME B16.47 rates flanges up to Class 900, but Class 900 is tabulated only from NPS 26 to NPS 48 in both Series A and Series B. From NPS 50 to NPS 60 the highest class covered by ASME B16.47 is Class 600.

Different piping connections require different flange configurations. Amigo Impex supplies the following super duplex flange types in standard and made-to-order dimensions:
ASME B16.47 covers only weld neck and blind flanges in NPS 26" to 60". Other patterns in this range, including slip-on, socket weld, threaded and lap joint, are supplied to manufacturer dimensions using B16.47 drilling and bolt circles. Plate flanges and spectacle blinds are produced from super duplex plate to ASTM A240 rather than from forgings, so the material certificate for these items is issued against ASTM A240 and not ASTM A182.
The flange facing is selected according to the gasket, mating component and service conditions. The following facing options are available:
Individual machined faces are protected before packing. Flanges are packed in hardwood cases, crates or strapped pallets depending on the size and quantity ordered. Each piece is marked with the grade, heat number, size, class and specification, when appropriate.
Domestic orders are delivered pan-India while export consignments are transported from Mumbai to USA, Gulf, European and Asian markets. Ready stock goods may normally be delivered within 1 to 2 days, while made to order forgings take about 30 days, subject to the specifications.
Material chemistry and mechanical properties are documented on the EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate supplied with each order. Dimensional inspection is carried out against the applicable ASME B16.5 or B16.47 requirements before dispatch.
Positive material identification and other inspection requirements can be arranged according to the purchase order. Third-party inspection is also supported, and EN 10204 3.2 certification is available when specified. Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
