Amigo Impex is a Hastelloy flange manufacturer, stockist and exporter based in Mumbai, India, with operations since 2013. We forge to ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564, and orders written against ASTM B462 / ASME SB-462 are accepted on the same basis for C-276 and C-22. Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing are handled in-house.
Hastelloy flanges are made from a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy family, with tungsten in both grades: 3.0 to 4.5% in C-276 and 2.5 to 3.5% in C-22. Nickel forms the balance in both grades. Molybdenum contributes strongly to resistance against reducing acids, such as hydrochloric acid, while chromium improves resistance to oxidising environments and localised corrosion. That combination is why process plants specify Ni-Mo alloy flanges for lines where conventional materials may be susceptible to pitting, cracking or excessive corrosion. Forged bodies also hold useful strength at elevated temperatures.
Two grades are available in Hastelloy flanges, such as C-276 and C-22. Sizes run from NPS 1/2" to 48", with sizes up to 60" available. Class 150 to 2500 apply to NPS 1/2" to 24" under ASME B16.5. From NPS 26" to 60", ASME B16.47 Series A and B cover Class 75, 150, 300, 400, 600 and 900. Higher classes in large diameters are engineered and forged to the client's drawing. Ten forged patterns are machined here, from weld neck to spectacle blind, in FF, RF, RTJ, tongue and groove, and male and female faces. Plate flanges are cut and machined from plate and are supplied against the applicable plate specification.
Around 60 to 70 tonnes of ready stock are held in Mumbai. A material test certificate travels with every consignment. Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications and supplies across India, as well as exports to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia.
Every enquiry is matched against the envelope below before quotation. It fixes the governing specification, grade set, size and pressure-class range, facing, form and certification issued.
Two material specifications govern the flange material, while separate standards govern dimensions and pressure ratings. Nominal size and flange type determine which dimensional standard applies.

We forge two Hastelloy grades in flange form, both selected for the corrosion environment the joint must handle.
Alloy C-276 flanges cover a broad range of corrosive services, including mixed acids, wet chlorine and seawater environments.
The higher chromium content of C-22 provides strong resistance in oxidising environments containing chlorides. Chemical process piping commonly specifies the grade for demanding corrosion service.
Standard stock runs across the applicable ASME dimensional range, while sizes outside it are machined from forged blanks to drawing. Bore preparation matches the mating pipe requirements on weld neck and socket weld work.
| Parameter | Range |
|---|---|
| Standard Size Range | NPS 1/2" to 48" |
| Large Diameter Range | Up to NPS 60" (DN 1250 to DN 1500) |
| Bore Preparation | As required by flange type and mating pipe |
| Non-Standard Drilling | Machined to client drawing |
Seven ASME pressure classes are listed for Hastelloy flange supply. Applicable size coverage depends on the dimensional standard, flange type and pressure class. PN 6 to PN 100 applies to EN 1092-1 orders where specified.
| Pressure Class | Typical PN Reference |
|---|---|
| Class 150 | PN 20 |
| Class 300 | PN 50 |
| Class 600 | PN 110 |
| Class 900 | PN 150 |
| Class 1500 | PN 260 |
| Class 2500 | PN 420 |
Weld neck and blind flanges are among the fastest-moving stock types, while the ten forged patterns below cover standard piping positions. Plate flanges are listed separately and are cut from plate. Other types are forged against the confirmed grade, pressure class, facing and bore requirements.
Facing selection depends on the gasket arrangement, pressure rating and sealing requirements of the joint. Five faces are machined on our nickel alloy flanges, and each can be produced in the grades we forge.

Request a QuoteMachined faces are wrapped individually, then packed into wooden cases, crates, bundles or pallets as required by the order. Each piece is marked with grade, heat number, size, class and specification. Domestic dispatch is available across India, while export consignments leave from Mumbai for the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Ready-stock items move in 1 to 2 days; made-to-order forgings generally require around 30 days.
A material test certificate accompanies every order, supported by the original mill documentation and applicable inspection results. Dimensional inspection against the governing ASME table is recorded before packing, and non-destructive testing is arranged on request. Third-party inspection agencies are supported. Weld neck, slip-on, blind, socket weld, threaded, lap joint, plate, long welding neck, reducing, orifice and spectacle blind types can be supplied in Hastelloy.
Yes, Hastelloy flanges are considered alloy flanges and belong to the nickel-alloy family rather than carbon or stainless steel.
C-276 provides broad resistance across mixed corrosive services, including hydrochloric acid at moderate concentration. Grade selection should follow the actual concentration, temperature and contaminants in the process stream. Nickel-molybdenum B-grades are the usual choice for strongly reducing acid duty and can be quoted on request.
Yes, ASME SB-462 is the ASME adoption of ASTM B462, with the applicable requirements aligned for code use. An order naming either designation should be matched against the specified code requirements.
Corrosion-resistant alloy flanges (CRA) in Hastelloy serve industries where acid, chloride or elevated-temperature service rules out less corrosion-resistant joint materials.
