Amigo Impex is an Inconel flanges manufacturer and supplier in Mumbai, India, stocking and exporting nickel alloy forgings since 2013. Each flange begins as a forged blank to the specification its grade calls for and finishes on our own machines. Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing are handled at our facility.

Inconel flanges are nickel-chromium alloy flanges. Nickel content varies by grade: 72.0% minimum in alloy 600 and 58.0% minimum in alloy 625, while age-hardening alloy 718 runs 50.0–55.0%. Chromium in each builds the oxide film that survives furnace heat. Two behaviours drive most specifications: the alloy holds useful strength where stainless steel flanges creep, and it resists chloride stress corrosion cracking. Five grades come from stock: 625, 600, 601, 718 and 660A.

Inconel Flanges Manufacturer & Supplier in India

Bores run from NPS 1/2" to 60", DN 15 to DN 1500. Class 2500 is available to NPS 12 and Class 1500 to NPS 24 under ASME B16.5, while NPS 26" to 60" runs to Class 900 under ASME B16.47. Aerospace, oil and gas, defence and pump and valve work account for most of what leaves our machines. Ready stock in Mumbai runs to 60 to 70 tonnes, and every consignment leaves with its test certificate. Send the bore, class and grade, and we'll confirm availability and a delivery date.

Applicable Standards for Inconel Flanges

Material comes under a single forging specification while dimensions answer to a family of documents. Bore size picks the ASME table, and a European, Japanese or Indian pattern is substituted whenever the drawing calls for one.

Inconel Flange Grades We Manufacture

Grade choice follows the service condition, and it splits three ways. Alloy 625 resists chlorides and acids; the 600 and 601 pair resist oxidation, and 718 and 660A resist mechanical load.

Inconel 625 Flanges (UNS N06625)

Molybdenum and niobium give alloy 625 a PREN near 51, and the grade needs no PWHT after field welding.

Inconel 600 Flanges (UNS N06600)

Alloy 600 keeps a stable oxide scale to roughly 1100 °C, which suits furnace and heat exchanger work.

Inconel 601 Flanges (UNS N06601)

Aluminium near 1.4% builds an aluminium oxide scale on alloy 601, taking its oxidation ceiling to about 1250 °C for radiant tubes and furnace work.

Inconel 718 Flanges (UNS N07718)

Age hardening carries alloy 718 to 1275 MPa minimum tensile per ASTM B637 Table 3, against 827 MPa for annealed 625 up to 102 mm section (758 MPa over 102 mm to 254 mm) per ASTM B564. Welded joints then need solution anneal plus double age.

Inconel 660A Flanges (UNS S66286)

Inconel 660A is the trade name for A-286, an iron-nickel-chromium alloy aged for joints that must hold preload near 704 °C.

Inconel Flange Sizes We Supply

Which table applies depends on the bore, and the two ASME series between them cover our full range. Sizes outside the standard series are machined from forged blanks, with drilling and thickness to drawing, in any grade above.

Pressure Rating of Nickel-Chromium Alloy Flanges

Class numbers are designations, not pressures in bar. What a nickel-chromium alloy flange actually holds falls away as metal temperature rises, so the working figure has to be read off the pressure-temperature table for that grade and class.

Machined Facings on Alloy 600 and 625 Flanges

Gasket type and pressure class decide the facing, and the mating flange has to match it. We machine five faces on Inconel flange bodies in any of the grades listed above.

Shipping and Packaging of Inconel Flanges

Each sealing face gets its own wrap and a bore cap before the flanges enter wooden crates, cases, bundles or pallets. Marking on each piece carries the specification, grade, heat number, class and size. Orders move pan-India out of Mumbai, and export loads are routed to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Stock leaves in 1 to 2 days; forged-to-order work needs about 30 days.

Inconel Flange Testing and Certification

Certification on every consignment runs to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, setting our own test results alongside the mill's original record. Before packing, each flange is checked dimensionally against the ASME table it was machined to. Witnessed release by third-party inspection agencies is arranged on request. AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications are held by our company.

Inconel Flanges FAQs

ASTM B564 covers forgings in alloys 600 and 625; ASME adopts it as SB-564, which is identical except that certification is mandatory. Alloy 718 forgings follow ASTM B637 and 660A follows ASTM A453/A638. Dimensions follow ASME B16.5 up to NPS 24" and ASME B16.47 from NPS 26" to 60".

Alloy 625 is the grade most specified for flanges, since it handles seawater, chlorides and mixed acids with no post-weld heat treatment.

Inconel flanges are supplied from NPS 1/2" to 60". Under ASME B16.5 (NPS 1/2" to 24"), we cover Class 150 to Class 1500, with Class 2500 to NPS 12. Under ASME B16.47 Series A & B (NPS 26" to 60"), we cover Class 150 to Class 900. Metric patterns run PN 6 to PN 64.

Inconel 625 flanges are solid-solution strengthened and weld without heat treatment. Inconel 718 flanges are age-hardened to 1275 MPa minimum tensile, then solution-treated and double-aged after welding.

Inconel flanges outperform stainless steel flanges in chloride stress corrosion cracking and in strength at temperature. For general utility lines, the alloy premium isn't justified.

Alloy 600 flanges run to roughly 1100 °C and Alloy 601 to about 1250 °C. ASME B16.5 limits Alloy 625 flanges to 645 °C.
