Amigo Impex has manufactured, stocked and exported Incoloy flanges from Mumbai since 2013. We forge these nickel-iron-chromium bodies to ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564, ASTM B637, then face and drill each one to the ASME table its size calls for. We cut, machine, thread, fabricate, test and pack at the works.

Three grades reach flange form here: Incoloy 800HT (UNS N08811), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) and Incoloy 925 (UNS N09925). Iron sits alongside nickel and chromium in all three, which separates the family from nickel-chromium Inconel. Alloy 800HT holds its strength in furnace heat. Alloy 825 carries molybdenum and copper against sulphuric and phosphoric acid, and Alloy 925 ages for sour wellhead duty. Sizes run from NPS 1/2" to 24" in Class 150 through Class 2500, and NPS 26" to 48" in Class 150 through Class 900, with PN 6 to PN 63 on European drawings. Five facings are cut across eleven patterns. Sizes, thicknesses, bores or drilling outside the standard tables follow the drawing supplied.

Incoloy Flanges Manufacturer & Supplier in India

Ready stock in Mumbai runs to 60 to 70 tonnes, and a mill test certificate is issued against each dispatch. Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications, supplies pan-India and exports to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Send the grade, size and class, and we'll confirm stock and a delivery date.

Applicable Standards for Incoloy Flanges

The below standards cover the forged material, and a further set controls dimensions. Which ASME table we work to depends on the nominal size, while drawings raised in Europe or Japan substitute their own pattern. EN 10204 covers certification.

Incoloy Flange Grades We Forge

Three grades cover our Incoloy flange range, and the service condition picks between them. Temperature covers the choice of 800HT, corrosive media point to 825, and mechanical load in sour wells requires 925.

Incoloy 800HT Flanges (UNS N08811)

Incoloy 800HT flanges carry aluminium plus titanium controlled to 0.85–1.20% and carbon to 0.06–0.10%, and are solution annealed at 2100°F (1149°C) minimum. That combination is what gives 800HT its higher creep and stress-rupture strength: ASME design stress values for 800HT between 1100°F and 1650°F are higher than those for 800H.

Incoloy 825 Flanges (UNS N08825)

Molybdenum of 2.5 to 3.5% with copper takes Alloy 825 into acid and chloride duty, with 586 MPa minimum tensile strength.

Incoloy 925 Flanges (UNS N09925)

Age hardening separates Alloy 925: titanium of 1.9 to 2.4% responds to heat treatment, and UNS N09925 is listed in NACE MR0175 for hydrogen sulfide service.

Incoloy Flange Size Range

Size decides fit as well as which dimensional standard applies. The range below is what we hold and machine in Incoloy, with metric and JIS equivalents given for drawings raised outside the ASME system.

Class 400 to ASME B16.47 is supplied against order. EN 1092-1:2018 itself covers DN 10 to DN 4000 in PN 2,5 to PN 400. The range above is what we hold and machine in Incoloy. Sizes and PN levels outside it are made to order against the drawing.

Pressure Rating of Nickel-Iron-Chromium Alloy Flanges

Class and PN numbers are rating designations, not working pressures. A flange loses allowable pressure as the metal gets hotter, so the design figure has to come from the pressure-temperature table that governs the grade in question.

Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a listed material in ASME B16.5 (Material Group 3.8), so its pressure-temperature ratings come straight from the B16.5 tables. UNS N08811 and UNS N09925 are not listed in ASME B16.5 Table 1A. Flanges in those grades are machined to B16.5 or B16.47 dimensions, and the allowable pressure at temperature is established by calculation to the governing design code (ASME B31.3). Confirm the design basis with us at the enquiry stage.

Incoloy Flange Types

Joint design and line duty settle the pattern. Eleven patterns are machined here across all three grades, to B16.5 and B16.47 dimensions. Nine are forged; plate flanges are cut and machined from plate, and spectacle blinds are supplied as line blanks to ASME B16.48 rather than as flanges. Anything not held in ready stock needs a confirmed size, class and facing before forging.

Incoloy Flange Facing Options

Gasket type, pressure class and the mating flange all decide the facing. Five facings are machined on Incoloy flange bodies here. Raised Face and Flat Face are cut to the serrated finish the gasket calls for, typically 125–250 µin AARH for a spiral wound or sheet gasket. Ring Type Joint grooves are machined to a smooth finish, 125 µin Ra maximum, to seat the metal ring. Tongue & Groove and Male & Female are cut to the mating dimensions on the drawing.

Shipping and Packaging of Incoloy Flanges

Sealing faces are wrapped one by one and bores capped, then the flanges go into crates, wooden cases, pallets or strapped bundles. Marking on each piece carries grade, heat number, size, class and specification. Domestic supply runs pan-India, and export loads leave from Mumbai for the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Stock items dispatch in 1 to 2 days; made-to-order forgings need roughly 30 days.

Testing and Certifications for Incoloy Flanges

Every consignment carries a material test certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, our own results set beside the mill record. Chemical analysis, tensile testing and hardness checks run in-house. Dimensional inspection against the ASME table is logged before packing, non-destructive testing is added where the order specifies it, and inspection by third-party agencies is supported at the works. Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.

FAQs on Incoloy Flanges

Incoloy 800HT and 825 flanges are forged to ASTM B564, adopted by ASME as SB-564 for nickel alloy forgings. Incoloy 925 is a precipitation-hardening grade and falls under ASTM B637 for forgings and forging stock, with ASTM B805 covering bar and wire. Separate B16 documents govern the dimensions.

Three grades are available in flange form: Incoloy 800HT (UNS N08811), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) and Incoloy 925 (UNS N09925). All three are forged and machined in Mumbai.

Incoloy 800HT flanges are specified for sustained service above 1100°F (593°C), where creep and stress-rupture strength govern. Note that carbide precipitation does occur in the 1000–1400°F (540–760°C) band, so the service condition should be confirmed against the design code for the vessel or line.

Incoloy 825 flanges suit acid service. Their molybdenum content of 2.5 to 3.5%, together with 1.5 to 3.0% copper, handles sulphuric and phosphoric media and resists chloride stress corrosion cracking.

UNS N09925 is listed in NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 Annex A, so Incoloy 925 flanges can be used in hydrogen sulphide service within the environmental limits that table sets, maximum H2S partial pressure, temperature, chloride content and in-situ pH, and within the specified maximum hardness, in the solution annealed and aged condition. Send us the service envelope and we will confirm compliance on the test certificate.

A material test certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 ships with every order. PMI reports and heat-treatment certificates follow when the purchase order names them.
