Amigo Impex is an Incoloy 825 flanges manufacturer, supplier, stockist and exporter based in Mumbai, India. Established in 2013, our company forges these flanges to ASTM B564 and the ASME counterpart SB-564 and also accepts purchase orders written against UNS N08825. Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing all happen in-house, keeping every production stage under one roof.

Incoloy 825 Flanges are specified where sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, sour gas and seawater attack ordinary flange materials. The nickel-iron-chromium alloy provides the corrosion resistance required for these demanding services. The grade holds a minimum tensile strength of 586 MPa in the annealed condition. European and Japanese drawings carry designations such as W.Nr. 2.4858 or JIS NCF 825, and we accept orders written against those equivalents. Nine flange constructions cover the range: weld neck, slip-on, and blind patterns lead demand, while orifice and spectacle blind specials are forged to order. Sizes run from NPS 1/2" to 48". Classes 150# to 1500# are supplied up to NPS 24" to ASME B16.5, with Class 2500# covered to NPS 12"; NPS 26" and above follow ASME B16.47 Series A and B. In NPS 26" and above, ASME B16.47 covers welding neck and blind flanges only; other patterns in these sizes are forged to customer drawing. Larger sizes in higher classes are forged to customer drawing.

Incoloy 825 Flanges Manufacturer & Supplier in India

Chemical plants, offshore platforms and power stations take the largest share of our dispatches. Wooden case packing, marked heat numbers and a material test certificate to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 accompany every consignment, and per-kilogram pricing is confirmed once type, size and class are fixed. Full traceability from mill heat to final inspection backs every flange order we supply.

Chemical Composition of ASTM B564 N08825 Flanges

The nickel-iron-chromium base, with molybdenum, copper and titanium added, lets ASTM B564 UNS N08825 flanges handle oxidising and reducing environments in one composition. Chromium gives resistance to oxidising media such as nitric acid and nitrates, nickel gives resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, and molybdenum with copper handles reducing acids such as sulphuric and phosphoric. Titanium, with the correct heat treatment, stabilises the alloy against intergranular attack.

FAQs on Incoloy 825 Flanges

ASTM B564 covers forged Incoloy 825 flanges, and ASME SB-564 applies the same requirements under the boiler and pressure vessel code.

ASTM B564 UNS N08825 flanges contain 38.0- 46.0% nickel, 19.5- 23.5% chromium, 22.0% iron minimum, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum and 1.5-3.0% copper. Titanium, manganese, silicon, carbon, sulphur and aluminium are held to the limits in the composition table above.

An Inconel 825 flange isn't a different product; 825 belongs to the Incoloy family, and both names describe the same UNS N08825 material.

Incoloy 825 flanges are available from NPS 1/2" to 48". Classes 150# to 1500# are covered to NPS 24" and Class 2500# to NPS 12" under ASME B16.5, while NPS 26" and larger are supplied in Classes 150# to 900# under ASME B16.47. European ratings PN 6 to PN 63 are also supplied.

Amigo Impex does provide a material test certificate with every Incoloy 825 flange order, issued to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 as the purchase order specifies.

The maximum recommended service temperature for Incoloy 825 flanges is approximately 1000 °F (538 °C). Service above this point is not recommended because microstructural change lowers ductility and impact strength.

Weld neck, slip on, blind, socket weld, threaded, lap joint, long welding neck, orifice and spectacle blind types are all stocked or forged in Incoloy 825.
