Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a tungsten addition, specified where hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, wet chlorine and seawater destroy ordinary flange materials. Molybdenum sits at 15.0 to 17.0% and chromium at 14.5 to 16.5%, a pairing that resists reducing and oxidising media in the same joint. Solution-annealed forgings reach a minimum tensile strength of 690 MPa. Drawings marked W.Nr. 2.4819 or JIS NW0276 call out the same material. The range covers ten forged constructions, from weld neck and slip-on through to spectacle blind specials. Sizes span NPS 1/2" to 48" as standard, with 60" produced on request. Classes 150 to 2500 apply within the ASME B16.5 range (Class 2500 to NPS 12, Class 1500 to NPS 24), and Classes 150 to 900 apply from NPS 26 to 60 under ASME B16.47.
Chemical processing plants, offshore operators and pharmaceutical piping contractors account for most repeat orders. Around 60 to 70 tonnes of ready stock is in Mumbai for domestic and export dispatch, and pricing is quoted per kilogram once the specification is confirmed. Nickel alloy C276 flanges owe their acid resistance to a Ni-Cr-Mo-W matrix. Molybdenum and tungsten fight pitting and crevice attack in reducing chlorides; chromium covers oxidising media. Carbon is held to 0.010% maximum, which protects the heat-affected zone during welding.

Ten forged Hastelloy C276 flange types cover the standard piping positions; weld neck and blind patterns dominate stock, and anything that isn't on the floor is forged against order.
Weld neck and blind flanges are supplied across the full size range. The remaining types follow ASME B16.5 dimensions up to NPS 24; above that, they are made to drawing, since ASME B16.47 covers weld neck and blind patterns only.
Hastelloy C276 flanges leave from Mumbai in export-grade packing: wooden cases, crates or pallets, with machined faces wrapped individually and every piece marked with heat number, size, class and specification. Domestic dispatches reach all Indian states, while export consignments sail from our facility port to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Urgent ex-stock requirements dispatched within 1 to 2 days; made-to-order forgings follow in around 30 days.
A material test certificate to EN 10204 3.1 documents every Hastelloy C276 flange heat, and intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 Method A or B is arranged where the order specifies it. In-house test results back up the original mill records. Third-party inspection is supported on request, and Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
