Hastelloy C276 bars and rods (UNS N10276) are low-carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum bar stock supplied against ASTM B574 and ASME SB-574. Chromium at 14.5–16.5% and molybdenum at 15.0–17.0% help Hastelloy C276 resist both oxidising and reducing media, while 3.0–4.5% tungsten reinforces it against pitting and crevice attack in chloride service. Solution-annealed rod reaches a minimum tensile strength of 690 MPa with 40% elongation, so machined valve stems and shafts keep ductility under load. European drawings mark the identical chemistry W.Nr. 2.4819.
Our range spans 5 mm to 500 mm across round, square, hex, flat, and forged sections. ASTM B574 rod certification applies from 7.94 mm to 88.9 mm; heavier sections are supplied as forged bar to ASTM B564 or to B574 chemistry with mechanical properties agreed upon at the order stage. Demand comes mainly from chemical processing, flue gas desulphurisation, oil and gas, pulp and paper, and pumps and valves. Per-kg pricing is quoted in INR or USD. Nickel forms the remainder of UNS N10276 once molybdenum, chromium, tungsten and iron take their shares. Carbon is limited to 0.010% maximum, helping minimise carbide precipitation during welding.
