Amigo Impex has manufactured, stocked and exported Hastelloy pipe fittings from Mumbai since 2013. Butt-weld elbows, tees, reducers, end caps and stub ends are certified to ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366 with dimensions to ASME B16.9, while forged socket weld and threaded fittings follow ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564 under ASME B16.11. We also produce non-standard configurations on request.
Two grades carry the range. Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings (UNS N10276) hold the WPHC276 designation and remain the most widely specified fitting grade of the family. Hastelloy C22 pipe fittings (UNS N06022) are certified as WPHC22 and are used in oxidising media. Nickel, molybdenum and chromium form the matrix of both alloys; tungsten adds pitting resistance, and low carbon protects the weld heat-affected zone during fabrication. Wet chlorine, hot brine, seawater and mixed acid streams are the routine service media, which is why chemical plants, refineries, offshore platforms and effluent lines take most dispatches. Sizes open at 1/2 inch NB, with walls to SCH 10S, 40S and 80S under ASME B36.19M and SCH 40, 80, 160 and XXS under ASME B36.10M, and mandrel bending forms special radii to drawing.
Stockholding backs the production side: roughly 60 to 70 tonnes of nickel alloy material stand ready in Mumbai, and cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing all happen in-house. Every order leaves with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate. AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications cover the operation, supply reaches every Indian state, and exports move to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia.
Line-class screening starts with this table. It records the standards, grades, size band, schedules, end preparations and certification that Hastelloy pipe fittings from Amigo Impex are supplied against.
Material specifications and dimensional standards do separate jobs on an order: the first group fixes chemistry, testing and marking; the second controls geometry, wall thickness and tolerance. Both apply to every fitting we quote.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366 | Factory-made wrought nickel alloy fittings |
| ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564 | Nickel alloy forgings for socket weld and threaded fittings |
| ASTM B575 | Parent plate chemistry behind the WPHC22 and WPHC276 grades |
| ASME B16.9 | Buttwelding fitting dimensions and tolerances |
| ASME B16.11 | Forged fittings, socket welding and threaded |
| MSS SP-43 | Light weight buttweld fittings and lap joint stub ends |
Only two Hastelloy pipe fitting grades appear on our order book, and chromium divides their duty: mixed and reducing acid lines stay with C276, while oxidising chloride service moves across to C22.
Alloy C276 fittings cover the broadest range of reducing and mixed acid duty in the family. Sulphuric acid mixtures, wet chlorine, brine and seawater all fall inside WPHC276 service.
Chromium runs higher in Alloy C22, so WPHC22 fittings withstand nitric acid and other oxidising media.
Whether a fitting ships from stock depends on bore and schedule. Buttweld Hastelloy fittings cover the ASME B16.9 band tabulated below, and production to drawing picks up anything the band doesn't cover.
| Fitting Group | Governing Standard | Size Range | Wall or Class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buttweld elbows, tees, reducers, end caps and stub ends | ASME B16.9 | NPS 1/2 to NPS 48 (DN 15 to DN 1200) | SCH 10S, 40S, 80S and XXS |
| Long radius elbows 45°, 90° and 180° returns; short radius 90° elbows and 180° returns | ASME B16.9 | NPS 1/2 to NPS 48 (DN 15 to DN 1200) | Matched to the connecting pipe schedule |
| Forged socket weld and threaded fittings | ASME B16.11 | Quoted per enquiry | Pressure class to order |
| Special bends, radii and non-standard bores | To drawing | Made to order | Formed by mandrel bending |
A Hastelloy piping run changes direction, branches, reduces and terminates through twelve buttweld configurations. Each fitting leaves with a weld bevel and full grade, size and heat marking.

Request a QuoteThe packaging depends on the material that will be packed inside. Timber crates take bevelled butt-weld pieces with the weld preps protected; boxed cartons carry small forged items, and every tag lists grade, size, schedule and heat number. Dispatch covers every Indian state, and export consignments of Hastelloy pipe fittings are shipped from Mumbai to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Ready material clears the works in 1 to 2 days; made-to-order lots run to about 30 days.
Positive material identification opens the inspection sequence on our nickel alloy pipe fittings, and a dimensional check against B16.9 or B16.11 closes it before packing. In-house testing feeds the certificate, non-destructive examination runs when the purchase order names it, and third-party inspectors witness release on request. The EN 10204 3.1 document pairs original mill data with our own results; a 3.2 upgrade is available, and AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification frames the quality system.
60–70 tonnes held in Mumbai, with urgent requirements dispatched within one to two days.
AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, with an MTC on every order.
Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication and testing all handled at our own Mumbai facility.
Original mill certificates plus our own test reports, so every batch can be traced back.
Non-standard sizes and specifications made to order.
Dispatched from Mumbai to every major Indian city, and exported to USA, Gulf, Europe, Asia
ASTM B366 covers wrought Hastelloy buttweld pipe fittings; ASME adopts it as SB-366, and ASME B16.9 fixes the dimensions. Forged socket weld and threaded fittings follow ASTM B564 with geometry to ASME B16.11.
Two Hastelloy grades are available as pipe fittings from our range: C22 (UNS N06022) and C276 (UNS N10276), certified to the B366 fitting designations WPHC22 and WPHC276.
Hastelloy C22 pipe fittings replace C276 in many, but not all, services. Oxidising and mixed media favour C22; strongly reducing acid streams still call for the higher molybdenum of C276. Confirm the process chemistry before switching either way.
Welded joints in C276 and C22 go into service without heat treatment after welding. Carbon capped at 0.010% in C276 and 0.015% in C22 restricts grain boundary precipitates in the heat-affected zone, so corrosion resistance holds after fabrication.
Hastelloy pipe fittings cost more than stainless steel fittings because nickel, molybdenum and tungsten price far above iron. In wet chlorine or hot acid duty, the alloy outlasts stainless items, and fewer replacement cycles offset the initial premium.
An EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate accompanies every Hastelloy pipe fittings order. Where the purchase order asks for it, a 3.2 certificate is issued with a third-party witness at release.
Ready Hastelloy buttweld fittings dispatch in 1 to 2 days from roughly 60 to 70 tons of standing nickel alloy stock in Mumbai. Made-to-order fittings need about 30 days.
We export Hastelloy pipe fittings to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. OEMs in pumps, valves and process equipment place most export orders on advance, credit or LC terms.
Process duty that corrodes standard alloys places Hastelloy alloy pipe fittings across these eight industries.
