Amigo Impex is an Inconel pipe fittings manufacturer, stockist, supplier and exporter operating from Mumbai, India, since 2013. Wrought buttweld fittings meet ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366, with dimensions held to ASME B16.9 and MSS SP-43, while socket weld and threaded fittings are covered by the same ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366 specification, dimensioned to ASME B16.11 and made from ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564 forgings.
Three grades form the supplied range: Inconel 600 (UNS N06600), Inconel 601 (UNS N06601) and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Grades 600 and 625 are supplied as wrought fittings to ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366. Inconel 601 fittings are supplied to purchaser specification from ASTM B167 pipe and tube, ASTM B168 plate, sheet and strip and ASTM B166 rod and bar, because neither ASTM B366 nor ASTM B564 lists a grade for UNS N06601. Each is a nickel-chromium superalloy that keeps strength and surface protection where heat and corrosive media meet. Inconel 600 pairs 72.0% minimum nickel with 14.0-17.0% chromium. Inconel 601 has the highest chromium of the three for cyclic oxidation duty, and Inconel 625 gains pitting and crevice resistance from an 8.0-10.0% molybdenum addition. Refinery heaters, chemical reactors, seawater lines and power plant piping absorb most of the output. Bores open at 1/2 inch NB across SCH 10S, 40S, 80S, 160 and XXS. Twelve buttweld types handle direction change, branching, reduction and closure.
Behind the order book sits roughly 60 to 70 tonnes of alloy stock in Mumbai, and cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing all run in-house. Our company holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications; supply covers pan-India, and exports reach the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. OEMs in pumps, valves, aerospace and process equipment place most orders.
An enquiry is matched against five parameters: grade, bore, schedule, end type and certificate scope. The table records the supply position of Amigo Impex on Inconel pipe fittings.
One document family on an Inconel fittings order controls what the metal is, and the other controls its shape. The table separates the two.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM B366 / ASME SB-366 | Factory-made wrought nickel alloy welding fittings |
| ASTM B564 / ASME SB-564 | Nickel alloy forgings behind socket weld and threaded fittings |
| ASME B16.9 | Buttweld fitting dimensions and tolerances |
| ASME B16.11 | Forged fittings, socket welding and threaded |
| MSS SP-43 | Light-wall corrosion-resistant buttweld fittings, CR marked |
| EN 10253-4 | Buttwelding fittings for export orders written to European line lists |
Service conditions dictate the choice between the three stocked grades: Inconel 600 for steady heat and caustic media, Inconel 601 for cyclic oxidation, and Inconel 625 for wet corrosion.
Inconel 600 pipe fittings carry the B366 grade marking WPNCI and add 6.0-10.0% iron to the nickel-chromium base. Process heaters, furnace piping and high-purity water systems generate most of this grade's demand.
Cyclic oxidation resistance is the reason Inconel 601 pipe fittings are specified. A stable oxide scale survives repeated heating and cooling, so furnace and thermal processing lines keep their wall thickness.
The heaviest demand lands on Inconel 625 pipe fittings, marked WPNCMC under B366. Nickel stands at 58.0% minimum with 20.0-23.0% chromium, and a niobium plus tantalum addition of 3.15-4.15% strengthens the matrix. Molybdenum defends against pitting and crevice attack, while the 58.0% minimum nickel content is what keeps the alloy free from chloride stress corrosion cracking. Seawater circuits and acid service follow from that resistance.
Stock coverage runs by bore and schedule, and the bands below list the Inconel fitting sizes held or produced at the works. Anything the bands don't hold is made to draw.
| Fitting Group | Governing Standard | Size Range | Wall or Class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buttweld elbows, tees, crosses, reducers, caps and stub ends | ASME B16.9 | 1/2 inch NB to 48 inch NB (DN 15 to DN 1200) | SCH 10S, 40S, 80S, 160, XXS |
| Forged socket weld and threaded fittings | ASME B16.11 | Quoted per enquiry | Pressure class to order |
| Custom radii and special bores | To drawing | Against order | Machined in-house |
The joints on an Inconel line come from 12 standard configurations, stocked here as buttweld items. Every piece leaves with its bevel prepared and its grade stamped.
Small forged pieces travel in cartons, bevelled butt-weld items go into timber cases with the weld preps capped, and each tag identifies the fitting by grade, dimension and heat. Dispatch reaches every Indian state from Mumbai, and export consignments serve OEM schedules in the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Stocked items leave in 1 to 2 days; made-to-order production runs to about 30 days.
Positive material identification opens the release sequence on these inconel buttweld fittings, because grades 600, 601 and 625 look identical on the rack. Dimensional inspection follows ASME B16.9 or B16.11, and weld bevels pass a visual check before packing. In-house results pair with original mill data on the EN 10204 3.1 certificate; a 3.2 upgrade with third-party witness is available against the purchase order, and AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification stands behind the quality system.

ASTM B366, adopted by ASME as SB-366, covers wrought Inconel pipe fittings, with buttweld dimensions to ASME B16.9. Socket weld and threaded types are also covered by ASTM B366, dimensioned to ASME B16.11 and forged from ASTM B564 material.
Three Inconel grades are available as pipe fittings from stock: Inconel 600 (UNS N06600), Inconel 601 (UNS N06601) and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625), in seamless and welded construction.
Inconel pipe fittings can be welded to stainless and carbon steel pipe using qualified nickel alloy filler metals. Review the galvanic couple first, where the joint sits in stagnant seawater against 300-series stainless components.
Inconel 625 pipe fittings suit flowing seawater and heat exchanger duty. Molybdenum at 8.0-10.0% resists the pitting and crevice attack that seawater causes in leaner alloys, and the 58.0% minimum nickel content gives freedom from chloride stress corrosion cracking.
Inconel 601 pipe fittings should be specified where the line heats and cools repeatedly and scale must stay put. Lines running at steadier temperatures keep Inconel 600 as the standard pick.
An EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate ships with every Inconel pipe fittings order. Third-party witnessed 3.2 certification can be added on request.
