Amigo Impex is a super duplex steel pipe fittings manufacturer, stockist and exporter in Mumbai, India, supplying duplex piping components since 2013. Our buttweld range is certified to ASTM A815 / ASME SA-815 in classes WP-S, WP-W and WP-WX, dimensioned under ASME B16.9. Forged socket weld and threaded items follow ASTM A182 F53 and F55 under ASME B16.11. Two grades hold the shelf: UNS S32750 and UNS S32760. Super duplex stainless steel pipe fittings carry a microstructure split close to 50/50 between ferrite and austenite, and that balance lifts strength without costing ductility. In UNS S32750, the chemistry runs 24.0 to 26.0% chromium, 3.0 to 5.0% molybdenum and 0.24 to 0.32% nitrogen, lifting the pitting resistance equivalent past 40, so chloride pitting, crevice attack and stress corrosion cracking stay in check.
SA-815 sets the floor for UNS S32750 fittings at 116 ksi (800 MPa) tensile and 80 ksi (550 MPa) yield. Elbows, tees, reducers, caps and stub ends run from 1/2 inch to 12 inch NB, with wider bores produced to drawing. Offshore risers, seawater circuits and desalination trains absorb most of the output. Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication, testing and packing run in-house. Around 60 to 70 tonnes of stock sits in Mumbai, and our certifications cover AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Every super duplex fittings enquiry settles against the envelope below: governing specification, grade, construction class, nominal bore, schedule range, end preparation, product form and the paperwork issued with each dispatch.
Two document families govern a super duplex fitting. The material specification fixes chemistry, heat treatment and testing; the dimensional standard fixes centre-to-end geometry, wall and bevel angle. Both are named on our certification.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM A815 / ASME SA-815 | Wrought ferritic/austenitic stainless steel piping fittings |
| ASTM A182 / ASME SA-182 | Forged fittings: F53 (S32750), F55 (S32760) |
| ASME B16.9 | Factory-made wrought buttwelding fittings |
| ASME B16.11 | Forged socket welding and threaded fittings |
| MSS SP-43 | Wrought and fabricated butt-welding fittings for low pressure, corrosion resistant applications (Sch 5S and 10S) |
| EN 10253 | European butt-welding pipe fittings |
| ASTM A790 / A928 | Base pipe from which A815 fittings are fabricated |
Two super duplex grades make up the standard range, each marked to its UNS number under A815. Chromium sits near 25% in both. Molybdenum, copper, tungsten and nitrogen separate them, as does the A182 forging grade.
S32750 is the volume grade here, carrying no deliberate tungsten and copper capped at 0.50%, with the tensile floor at 116 ksi (800 MPa).
Copper and tungsten, both held at 0.50 to 1.00%, mark out S32760. Molybdenum narrows to 3.0 to 4.0% and tensile minimum reads 109 ksi (750 MPa).
Bore and wall thickness govern availability. Butt-weld stock covers the ASME B16.9 span table below in seamless and welded construction; forged items follow B16.11, and reducing combinations are made to the ordered schedule.
| Fitting Group | Governing Standard | Size Range | Wall/ Schedule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buttweld elbows, tees, reducers, caps and crosses | ASTM A815, ASME B16.9 | 1/2 inch to 12 inch NB | SCH 10S, 40S, 80S, 160 and XXS |
| Long radius 1.5D and short radius 1D elbows | ASME B16.9 | 1/2 inch to 12 inch NB | Matched to the pipe |
| Forged socket weld, threaded fittings | ASTM A182, ASME B16.11 | Quoted per enquiry | Class rating to order |
| Sizes above 12 inch NB or special geometry | ASTM A960/A960M, Supplementary Requirement S58 | Made to order | To drawing |
Direction change, branching, bore transition and line termination account for the twelve butt-weld configurations we stock in super duplex. Each carries the parent grade marking, and bevels arrive ready for the root pass.

Request a QuotePacking follows the fitting size. Large bore elbows and tees are nested into wooden cases, reducers and caps travel in strapped bundles, and forged items ship inside cartons. Tags record grade, heat number, bore and specification. Export lots leave Mumbai in sea-freight packing for the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia, and pan-India orders draw on the same stock. Ready stock leaves in 1 to 2 days, and made-to-order production takes about 30 days.
Phase balance decides whether a super duplex fitting performs, so where an order specifies it, A923 testing checks for detrimental intermetallic phase. Positive material identification and dimensional verification against ASME B16.9 or B16.11 run in-house before packing. A mill test certificate covering chemistry and mechanical results travels with every consignment, issued from the original mill and from our own testing. Third-party inspection agencies witness release on request, and our system holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
60–70 tonnes held in Mumbai, with urgent requirements dispatched within one to two days.
AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, with an MTC on every order.
Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication and testing all handled at our own Mumbai facility.
Original mill certificates plus our own test reports, so every batch can be traced back.
Non-standard sizes and specifications made to order.
Dispatched from Mumbai to every major Indian city, and exported to USA, Gulf, Europe, Asia
ASTM A815, adopted by ASME as SA-815, covers wrought super duplex pipe fittings of seamless and welded construction. Forged socket weld and threaded fittings certify to ASTM A182 F53 and F55.
A super duplex pipe fitting clears a pitting resistance equivalent above 40. UNS S32750 gets there on 24.0 to 26.0% chromium, 3.0 to 5.0% molybdenum and 0.24 to 0.32% nitrogen; standard duplex grades land below.
Buttweld sizes run 1/2 inch to 12 inches NB to ASME B16.9 dimensions in SCH 10S, 40S, 80S, 160 and XXS. Larger bores are produced to the drawing.
The manufacturing route and connection separate the two. A815 butt weld fittings are formed from pipe and welded end to end, while A182 forged fittings are shaped from worked stock and joined by socket weld or thread.
UNS S32750 (2507 / F53) and UNS S32760 (F55) come from stock; S32906, S39274 and hyper duplex S32707 and S33207 follow to order.
ASTM A815 doesn't apply to cast fittings, so nothing we supply is cast. Buttweld items are wrought from pipe, forged items are worked from billet or bar, and both are heat treated after forming.
Every consignment carries a mill test certificate recording chemistry, mechanical results and the heat number against ASTM A815 or ASTM A182, covering the ordered class and grade.
Our export desk ships super duplex pipe fittings from Mumbai to Gulf markets, the USA, Europe and Asia, with documentation handled jointly with our clearing agent.
