Amigo Impex is a reputable supplier and manufacturer of Incoloy 825 tubes and Inconel 825 pipes, known for their inability to harden through heat treatment. These pipes and tubes are meticulously crafted to adhere to international standards, meeting the diverse requirements of our global customers. We deliver a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous grades suitable for various industrial applications, utilizing precise machinery and the latest equipment in manufacturing.
Our Incoloy 825 tubes and Inconel 825 pipes are available in different designations, standards, specifications, and custom dimensions to meet the demands of our esteemed customers. We prioritize quality, using only tested raw materials to ensure the reliability and workability of our products. The unique composition of Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), an austenitic alloy, includes iron, chromium, and nickel, with additions of molybdenum, titanium, and copper. This combination provides exceptional resistance to corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The nickel content offers resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, while molybdenum and copper enhance corrosion resistance in reducing environments compared to standard grades.
The alloy's molybdenum and chromium content also resist pitting corrosion in various oxidizing environments. Titanium stabilization prevents sensitization or grain boundary precipitation in the weld-affected zone, ensuring resistance to intergranular attacks at elevated temperatures. Incoloy 825 tubes and Inconel 825 pipes are resistant to breakdown in various harsh environments, including sulfuric, sulfurous, hydrofluoric, phosphoric, nitric acids, and alkalis.
These pipes and tubes exhibit desirable mechanical properties across a broad temperature range, from cryogenic to moderately high temperatures. They can be exposed to temperatures above 1000°F, which may alter their microstructure, reducing ductility and impact strength. While Incoloy 825 is not ideal for applications requiring creep rupture properties, it can be strengthened through cold working, maintaining good impact strength at room temperature and retaining it at cryogenic temperatures. The most notable attribute of Incoloy 825 is its exceptional corrosion opposition, making it suitable for use in both reducing and oxidizing environments. This alloy is resistant to crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion, general corrosion, and chloride pressure corrosion cracking.
At Amigo Impex, we ensure the functionality of our Incoloy 825 tubes and Inconel 825 pipes in adverse environments by subjecting them to rigorous testing. These tests include mechanical properties tests, compression tests, hardness tests, hydro testing, tensile tests, positive material identification, micro and macro tests, chemical analysis, destructive tests, intergranular corrosion tests, flattening tests, ultrasonic tests, radiography, pitting corrosion tests, and more.
