Hastelloy sheet and plate is a flat-rolled nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, the most acid-resistant line in our nickel alloy sheets and plates range, stocked in three grades: Hastelloy C-276 (UNS N10276), Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022) and Hastelloy X (UNS N06002). Molybdenum carries the reducing acids, hydrochloric and sulphuric among them, while chromium holds the passive film in oxidising chlorides, so the metal keeps its section where stainless flat product pits through.
C-276 and C-22 materials are certified to ASTM B575/ASME SB-575, and Hastelloy X to ASTM B435, with AMS 5536 answering aerospace sheet callouts. Sheet is held from 0.13 mm to 4.75 mm thick and plate from 4.76 mm to 100 mm, across widths of up to 2400 mm and lengths of up to 12000 mm. Water jet and plasma lines bring any plate down to the drawing before dispatch, and thickness tolerance follows ASTM B906.
Chemical reactors, flue gas scrubbers, heat exchanger plates and gas turbine hardware take most consignments. Supply covers pan-India from Mumbai, and exports reach the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Around 60 to 70 tonnes of ready stock backs urgent dispatch, and every order ships with a mill test certificate under AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.

Three Hastelloy grades are held in flat-rolled form, and the process medium picks between them: reducing and mixed acid duty points to the C-series, hot oxidising gas to Hastelloy X.
Wet chlorine, chloride brines and mixed acid streams all sit inside the C-276 envelope, which is why it outsells the other two plate grades.
Hastelloy C-22 plate carries 20.0 to 22.5% chromium, giving wider coverage than C-276 in oxidising media and stronger resistance to pitting and crevice attack.
High-temperature duty requires Hastelloy X sheet, ordered against ASTM B435 or AMS 5536 for furnace and gas turbine work.
Sheet and plate run on separate dimensional envelopes, split by rolling route rather than one thickness figure. Anything outside these ranges doesn't end the enquiry; Hastelloy plates are cut or rolled to order.

As leading Hastelloy plate suppliers, marking on each package records the grade, heat number, size and specification, and the document set holds the mill test certificate, invoice and packing list. Dispatch runs pan-India from Mumbai; export orders reach four regions: the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Ready stock clears in 1 to 2 days, while made-to-order material needs roughly 30 days.
Every heat is verified on arrival before packing. Chemical analysis and dimensional inspection are logged against each heat, alongside positive material identification. The original mill certificate to EN 10204 3.1 travels with the material. Test results generated at our Mumbai facility, including positive material identification and dimensional inspection, are supplied as a separate works report against the same heat number; EN 10204 3.2 certification is arranged through the mill with a nominated third-party inspection agency, on request at the time of order. Third-party inspection is supported. Certifications held cover AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Hardness isn't the reason to buy Hastelloy plates; ASTM B575 asks for C-276 plate for a 690 MPa tensile and 283 MPa yield minimum, and the advantage over stainless lies in corrosion resistance across mixed acid service.
Cutting to size happens before delivery on water jet and plasma lines, with shearing, bevelling, edging, deburring and grinding completed as the drawing demands.
Every lot of Hastelloy sheets and plates carries an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and 3.2 witness certification is raised on request.
Hastelloy C-276 plate can be welded without losing strength: peer-reviewed laser butt-welding research measured weld-zone tensile strength above the parent metal, with residual stresses inside yield limits.
