Amigo Impex has manufactured, stocked and exported Inconel sheets and plates from Mumbai, India, since 2013, running cutting, machining and fabrication in-house before material moves to testing and packing. Inconel sheet and plate is a flat-rolled nickel-chromium alloy certified against ASTM B168 / ASME SB-168, ASTM B443 / ASME SB-443 and ASTM B670, held in six grades: 600, 601, 625, 660A, 718 and X-750. High nickel keeps the lattice stable through repeated thermal cycling. Chromium builds the oxide film that survives furnace atmospheres, so the metal holds its gauge long after standard stainless grades scale away.
Thickness spans 0.3 mm to 100 mm on widths of 1000 to 2500 mm and lengths up to 12500 mm; below 4.76 mm, the product counts as sheet, and above it, plate. Hot-rolled plate and cold-rolled sheet lead the range, backed by shim, clad, foil and strip variants. Any panel is brought down to the drawing before dispatch.
Furnace builders, chemical processors and aerospace fabricators take most of the tonnage, while power, marine, offshore and defence programmes account for the balance. Dispatch covers pan-India from Mumbai; exports reach the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia, and pricing is quoted per kilogram against grade and cut size. Ready stock of 60 to 70 tonnes covers urgent requirements, and AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications are held by our team.
A single table settles what an Inconel plate enquiry needs before quotation: the governing specification for each grade, the stocked grade set, dimensional cover, forms, temper and the certification supplied.
Flat-product documents alone appear below; pipe, bar and fitting standards stay off this page. Every Inconel sheet consignment names its governing specification on the test certificate that travels with it.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM B168 / ASME SB-168 | Nickel-chromium-iron alloy (UNS N06600, N06601) plate, sheet and strip |
| ASTM B443 / ASME SB-443 | Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-columbium alloy (UNS N06625) plate, sheet and strip |
| ASTM B670 | Precipitation-hardening alloy UNS N07718 plate, sheet and strip |
| ASTM B906 | General requirements for nickel alloy flat product |
| AMS 5540 | Alloy 600 sheet, strip and plate for aerospace use |
| AMS 5599 | Alloy 625 sheet, strip and plate for aerospace use |
| DIN 17750 | Nickel alloy plate, sheet and strip; W.Nr. 2.4816, 2.4851, 2.4856, 2.4668 |
Six grades of Inconel plates and sheets are held: 600, 601, 625, 660A, 718 and X-750. Drawings citing W.Nr. 2.4816, 2.4856 or the JIS NCF designations resolve to the same materials.
600 Inconel alloy sheets, UNS N06600 under ASTM B168, resist chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking through furnace temperatures.
An aluminium addition sets Inconel 601 plate apart: UNS N06601, within the same ASTM B168 scope, forms a tighter oxide scale for thermal-processing duty.
625 Inconel alloy plate is the nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium grade UNS N06625, certified to ASTM B443.
Inconel 660A (also known as A-286 or UNS S66286) is an iron-based alloy. Age hardening increases its strength, making it ideal for high-stress applications like turbine components and heavy-duty fasteners.
Inconel 718 (UNS N07718) meets ASTM B670 standards. It combines exceptional high-temperature strength with superior weldability compared to most other age-hardened alloys.
Inconel X-750 flat product, UNS N07750, age-hardens after forming and goes into springs, fasteners and gas-turbine hardware.
Sheet and plate divide at 4.76 mm (3/16 in.), the demarcation ASTM flat-product specifications draw, and each form runs its own dimensional envelope. Panels outside the standard sizes below aren't a limit; those get cut to order.
| Dimension | Inconel Sheet | Inconel Plate |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | 0.3 mm to 4.75 mm | 4.76 mm to 100 mm |
| Width | 1000 mm to 1500 mm | 1000 mm to 2500 mm |
| Length | 2000 mm to 3000 mm | 2500 mm to 12500 mm |
| Standard Sizes | 1000 × 2000, 1220 × 2440, 1500 × 3000 mm | 2000 × 6000 mm |
| Supply | Standard panels ex-stock | Profiled to drawing |
Theoretical weight follows length × width × thickness × grade density, and Inconel 600 has a density of 8.47 g/cm³.
Rolling route, surface pattern and gauge separate the variants below; certification and grade cover stay unchanged across all of them:

Request a QuoteInconel plates travel from Mumbai in timber export cases, while sheets go strapped on pallets with paper interleaving to protect finished faces. Each bundle is marked with grade, heat, dimensions and specification, and every consignment includes its packing list, invoice and mill test certificate. Dispatch reaches pan-India, with export orders moving to the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Held stock dispatches in a day or two; made-to-order rolling needs about 30 days.
Each heat of Inconel sheet and plate clears chemical analysis, thickness and flatness checks, and positive material identification before packing. Certificates to EN 10204 3.1 combine mill heat data with in-house laboratory results, and 3.2 documentation under independent witness can be raised when the order requires. Amigo Impex holds AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
60–70 tonnes held in Mumbai, with urgent requirements dispatched within one to two days.
AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, with an MTC on every order.
Cutting, machining, threading, fabrication and testing all handled at our own Mumbai facility.
Original mill certificates plus our own test reports, so every batch can be traced back.
Non-standard sizes and specifications made to order.
Dispatched from Mumbai to every major Indian city, and exported to USA, Gulf, Europe, Asia
Inconel sheets and plates are used for furnace linings, heat exchanger baffles, reactor internals, combustion and exhaust hardware, and gas turbine parts, wherever heat and corrosive media act together.
ASTM B168 / ASME SB-168 covers Inconel 600 and 601 flat product, ASTM B443 / ASME SB-443 covers Inconel 625, and ASTM B670 covers Inconel 718.
The difference is thickness: ASTM flat-product specifications classify material under 4.76 mm (3/16 in.) as sheet and anything from that figure upward as plate.
We cut Inconel sheets and plates to size in-house, so material arrives as blanks matched to the drawing rather than full panels, with edges finished before packing.
Inconel sheets and plates are available from 0.3 mm to 100 mm thick, in widths of 1000 to 2500 mm and lengths to 12500 mm.
Inconel 625 takes the most sheet and plate orders; specify it where corrosion drives the design, and move to age-hardenable 718 where strength does.
An EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate accompanies every Inconel sheet and plate order, and 3.2 certification with third-party witness inspection is arranged on request.
Combined heat and corrosion duty places Inconel sheets and plates in eight industries:
