It also exhibits resistant to corrosive media under high temperatures. There are many more properties of the alloy that makes wire useful in various industries. They have good metallurgical stability. Their high strength is desirable in various applications. Also, they have favorable fabrication characteristics. In addition to this, they are capable of resisting oxidizing chemicals. Nitric acid is one of those oxidizing chemicals that is not good for the wires. The wires are also resistant to an atmosphere containing sulfur gas at high temperature.
