Super Duplex S32750 (UNS S32750, EN 1.4410, traded as SAF 2507) is a 25Cr duplex stainless steel rolled as sheet and plate. We supply it to ASTM A240/ASME SA-240 up to 120 mm in thickness and widths up to 3500 mm. Its chemistry pairs 24.0 to 26.0% chromium with 3.0 to 5.0% molybdenum and 0.24 to 0.32% nitrogen, lifting the pitting resistance equivalent number (PREN) ≥ 40, typically 42 to 43. Tensile strength starts at 795 MPa minimum. Yield holds a 550 MPa floor, and 15% elongation keeps the plate formable. DIN, JIS, SS and GB systems carry equivalent designations. Standard sizes are ready to ship from stock, and custom sizes can be cut to order. Hot-rolled plates, cold-rolled sheets, shim, perforated and chequered variants dispatch from Mumbai stock of 60 to 70 tonnes. Super Duplex S32750 plate needs controlled heat input, usually 0.5 to 1.5 kJ/mm, with interpass temperature capped around 150°C. Use an over-alloyed filler such as ER2594 rather than a matching composition, because the extra nickel restores austenite in the fast-cooling weld metal. After hot forming, solution anneal and quench to dissolve the sigma phase and bring the ferrite-austenite balance back.
