Incoloy 800HT (UNS N08811) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy produced in flat form to ASTM B409 and ASME SB-409. The grade carries 30.0-35.0% nickel and 19.0-23.0% chromium on an iron base of 39.5% minimum. Within the alloy 800 family, the HT variant is defined by three tighter controls, not by new alloying elements: carbon in a 0.06-0.10% window, combined aluminium plus titanium held to 0.85-1.20%, and a final anneal at 2100 °F (1149 °C) minimum against 2050 °F for 800H. Both 800H and 800HT must also meet an average grain size of ASTM No. 5 or coarser. Annealed plate meets 450 MPa minimum tensile strength, 170 MPa minimum yield strength and 30% elongation. Demand for this grade comes mainly from furnace internals, reformer components, heat-exchanger shells and pressure-vessel work.
We stock 800HT sheet from 2.92 mm (0.115 in.) (the minimum thickness ASTM B409 permits for UNS N08811) up to 6.4 mm, and plate from 4.76 mm upward, in widths up to 2,500 mm and lengths up to 6,000 mm. Incoloy 800HT plate holds combined aluminium plus titanium to 0.85-1.20%, a restriction that 800H doesn't carry.
