Amigo Impex manufactures and supplies Incoloy 825 sheets and plates from Mumbai and has stocked and exported nickel alloy flat products since 2013.
Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy strengthened with molybdenum, copper and titanium additions for corrosion resistance and carbide stabilisation. We supply it as sheet and plate to ASTM B424 and ASME SB-424 in thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 120 mm, with widths up to 3500 mm. The chemistry carries 38.0 to 46.0% nickel alongside 19.5 to 23.5% chromium, a balance that keeps the alloy stable in reducing and oxidising acids alike. Annealed material reaches a minimum tensile strength of 586 MPa. Yield strength starts at 241 MPa. Minimum 30% elongation gives the alloy good ductility, so annealed sheet takes normal cold-forming operations. Werkstoff, JIS and BS systems carry equivalent designations.
Hot-rolled plates, cold-rolled sheets, shim gauges and others ship from the same Mumbai stock. Resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice attack drives the selection of this grade for chemical processing, offshore oil and gas, acid pickling and seawater equipment. As a stockist, we hold 60 to 70 tonnes of ready material; as a manufacturer, we cut, machine, fabricate, test and pack in-house at our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018-certified company. Exports reach the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. Every order we dispatch carries traceability back to the original mill heat.
Supplied specifications for Incoloy 825 sheets and plates cover the governing standard, thickness, width, and length in one table. Procurement drawings can be checked against it line by line.
ASTM B424 is the governing specification for nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy plate and sheet in UNS N08825. Its ASME adoption, SB-424, covers pressure applications, and the German and international documents below run parallel.
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| ASTM B424 | Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu alloy (UNS N08825) plate and sheet |
| ASME SB-424 | ASME adoption of ASTM B424 for pressure use |
| ASTM B906 | General requirements for nickel alloy plate and sheet |
| DIN 17750 | Nickel alloy plate, sheet and strip (Germany) |
| ISO 6208 | Nickel alloy plate, sheet and strip (international) |
| VdTÜV 432 | Pressure vessel material approval for Alloy 825 (Germany) |
Incoloy 825 plate welds by all conventional processes and forms readily in the annealed condition. The titanium addition and the 0.05% maximum carbon prevent sensitisation, so no pre-heat or post-weld heat treatment is normally needed.
| Element | % by Weight |
|---|---|
| Nickel (Ni) | 38.0 – 46.0 |

Cross-checking a German, Japanese or British material call-out against our UNS N08825 stock takes a single reference table. Listings titled Inconel 825 describe this same Incoloy grade; the table settles the naming.
| Standard System | Designation |
|---|---|
| USA (UNS) | N08825 |
| Germany (Werkstoff Nr.) | 2.4858 |
| Japan (JIS) | NCF 825 |
| UK (BS 3072) | NA16 |
4 sheet and plate types cover the fabrication range, from close-tolerance shim gauges to clad plate.
For export consignments, Incoloy 825 sheets travel in plastic-covered, weather-protected bundles and plates in wooden cases or crates suited to sea freight. Heat number, grade, specification and dimensions are marked on each piece before dispatch. Deliveries run PAN India from Mumbai, while export orders for the USA, the Gulf, Europe and Asia move through the port; urgent consignments leave within 1 to 2 days.
A Material Test Certificate accompanies every order, drawn from the original mill or from our own in-house testing. Third-party inspection can be arranged for witnessed tests. Amigo Impex holds four certifications: AS 9120B, PED, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. There is no break in traceability from melt to dispatch.
Incoloy 825 sheet and plate prices are ₹1,400–₹3,150/kg per kg in India and US$15–33/kg. A fixed price list isn't practical because alloy surcharges move monthly; thickness, width, finish, quantity and testing requirements complete each rate.

ASTM B424, adopted by ASME as SB-424, applies to Incoloy 825 sheets and plates in UNS N08825.
120 mm is the heaviest plate we supply; sheets start at 0.3 mm, widths run to 3500 mm and lengths to 8250 mm.
Incoloy 825 plate welds by all conventional processes and forms readily in the annealed condition. The titanium addition reduces the risk of sensitisation, and a stabilising anneal at 930–980 °C is advised when welded parts go into corrosive service.
We machine and cut Incoloy 825 plate in-house. The alloy work-hardens quickly, so it is machined with sharp tooling, rigid setups and low cutting speeds for a clean finish.
Pickling tanks and phosphoric acid evaporators are the classic installations for this grade. Offshore process decks, heat exchangers and flue gas scrubbers follow closely.
Cost tracks prevailing nickel and molybdenum prices along with thickness, finish and quantity, so rates are quoted per enquiry. In India, ₹1,400–₹3,150/kg per kg in India and US$15–33/kg. We supply dealers and OEMs across India from our ready Mumbai stock.
Acid, chloride and seawater duty places Incoloy 825 sheets and plates in these 8 industries.
